The opportunities I’ve received over the past 2 years at CloudStratex have progressed my career further than I had ever expected. I have worked as an associate of CloudStratex for almost two years and before that have known and worked with many of the founders and key leadership team since 2012 onwards. There are many facets to why I kept on coming back, the work was always interesting, some amazing challenges that pushed many boundaries… but the main facet was the people. The best of the best in my honest opinion. Not only do they know their craft, but they do that wrapped in a warm wrapper of being top personalities too and value the need of the workplace to be much more than just targets and delivery. They always made me personally feel a part of something very special even as an associate.... part of a family almost...a very talented family of amazing characters that look out and support everyone in order to deliver the best of the best as often as humanly possible.I guess that is one of the reasons why, having been a ‘professional’ contractor since the early 00’s, if I were to go permanent with anyone it would be with this amazing group of talented personable people. I decided to join their journey permanently in April of this year and must say I am excited about being part of this great company that not only delivers fantastic projects for its clients but has an amazing ethos in developing new talent.

I joined Cloud Stratex post-graduation. Since then, I have been immersed in a stimulating culture of hard work and collaboration. The ‘we’ as opposed to ‘us’ ethos is really felt due to the helpful attitudes of the employees and the feeling that we are all a part of CloudStratex. I’ve had the pleasure of working with many of the company founders, employees and associates throughout my career and can attribute a large part of my success to these people who have always challenged me to do the best I can, supported me through difficult times and rewarded me for success.Driven by a leadership team with a laser focus on the customer and a heartfelt drive to deliver excellence in any engagement, their “never give up” attitude differentiates them from the vast majority of players in the market.It’s a great environment for developing skills and has enabled me to grow from the days of technical support through to team leadership and ownership of client engagement, including the development of sales opportunities, something I would never have believed possible for me without the support I received.It’s great to see them taking this model, coupled with a recognition of the shortage of new talent coming through to address the fast pace of IT change in the market, and investing in young people through the Talent Academy.
