As part of an expanding portfolio of products, increasing client footprint and parallel engagements, the Workplace Practice are now seeking a Junior Delivery PMO professional to join the team to apply governance standards, participate in the sales and marketing activities and assist in developing products.
Role Objective:
Provide assistance and capability in the execution of engagements applying project management best practice, coordination and administration.
This role will work across several concurrent engagements.
SUMMARY:
- Assist in the set up and delivery of CSX projects and engagements through closing pre-sales, initiation, execution and close
- Ensure the delivery team have the required knowledge and understanding of CSX standards ensuring compliance to governance
- Assist in the management of the project and/or programme office
- Ensure that weekly and monthly hygiene factors are implemented including standard meetings, resource forecasting, deliverable tracking, document management and maintenance of key governance artefacts e.g. RAID, plans, actions, decisions
- Manage logistics of meetings and workshops
- Assist in running workshops and meetings capturing the output
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of project status updates and reports
- Assist in demonstrations of CSX capability
- Assist in engagement with customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Support the co-ordination of project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Work with Practice Support to ensure a ‘joined up’ approach to governance
- Drive and embody CSX values and culture
Main Duties:
A proactive approach to the following:
Project and Practice Administration and Support
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of key project governance artefacts such as reports, RAID, budgets, plans, meeting minutes
- Ensure that CSX governance standards are applied
- Track and co-ordinate activities and actions in line with the project plan, RAID, Kanban and regular stand-ups
Product Development
- Assist in ideation and process capture
- Support scrum activities
- Update Kanban and provide descriptive clarity
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the way CSX manage engagements
Client engagements
- Assist in the capture of workshop output in the form of workflows, minutes, actions, decisions, issues and risks
- Support project logistics such as arranging workshops, testing, training
- Support for governance processes and meetings
Post Engagement
- Ensure the capture, anonymisation, and accurate storage of all CSX-generated IP
- Assist in lessons learned and the capture and execution of actions for improvement of internal processes, tools and culture
Employee Responsibilities
- Complete all requested administrative tasks in timely and precise manner
- Comply with and support the compliance to the standards set forth in the employee handbook.
- Uphold and champion the CSX values and culture as stated in the employee handbook and Service Management practice addendums.

Must Have
- Previous experience working in a project management admin or PMO role
- Project Management certification(s)
- A strong desire to drive change via effective project management and customer engagement.
- Ability to capture information, maintain detailed logs, and coordinate the actions of others
- Demonstrate an understanding of technology, business process and ideally ITIL processes
- An aptitude for problem solving and interpersonal communication
- Can communicate both verbally and in written form clearly and informatively and listen
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts in a structured way for detailed analysis
- Ability to analyse large amounts of complex information in order to reach valid and justifiable conclusions
- A proactive and autonomous approach
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application suite software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
Should Have
- Experience as a core project team member, working closely with a professional project manager.
- Understanding of the ‘end to end’ view of how business processes are supported by tools and applications.
